Treatment with botulinum toxin (Botox)
The treatment consists in a painless injecting of a substance on your face using a very fine needle. Botox works by blocking nerve signals to the muscles temporarily, the effect being maintained for 4-6 months. Practically, with no nervous stimulus, the muscles no longer contracts itself and wrinkles are no longer visible.
What areas can be treated with botulinum toxin (Botox)
- treatment of vertical lines between the eyebrows
- wrinkles at the corner of the eye (“crow’s feet”)
- horizontal lines on the forehead
Botox starts to take effect within 24 hours of administration, and the results can be seen after 7-14 days.
Treatment with hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid treatment is necessary in areas where their volume is restored or increased. The results are immediate: the skin regains a younger appearance and is more stretched.
What areas can be treated?
- Creases: Correction of mouth and chin creases, nasogenian wrinkles (at the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth); sadness folds (on corners of the mouth on both sides of the chin)
- Lips: increasing lip volume, lip contour redesign
- Wrinkles: between the eyebrows (“lion wrinkles”); wrinkles in the corner of the eyes (“crow’s feet”), wrinkles at the corner of the mouth.
- Increased volume in the cheeks, chin correction, contour of jaw, cheek and nose
- Correction scar sequelae (acne, chicken pox, trauma, etc.)
